goodbye 84 hello 1991 codes c12 and h44
Known issues, abs is disconnected as the pedal would kick against you trying to apply brakes at low speeds. So that will need to be addressed.
Showing a steady check engine light after driving or idling, pulled the codes and all I got was a C12 and H44.
He says he replaced the o2 sensor or sensors and it still does it. I notice the h44 code says o2 sensor (lean condition) so I think maybe something besides the sensor triggering the code.
The first thing Im doing is reading the pellet in the keys, the ignition I read 11.73 k I think theres an 11.30 k so its probably drifted some. Is this a number 5 pellet?
Any ideas or suggestions for a new 91 owner?
The pellet in the key will cause a no start and it is only monitored when ignition is rotated to crank position. Any place that cuts car keys should be able to tell you what blank you have. I doubt they would charge you, if you only have one I would get a spare or at least a cheap steel blank traced with key code.

Also the ins mpg jumps around sometimes if IM driving steady it will go from 23 or 24 to 35 or 40 omething big jump up and baxk down.
Also I put gas in today and whoosh the air came out of the tank scary
