So I was driving my 92 home from work today and I noticed a strange issue. The ASR seemed to be pulsating a lot. I turned it off via button and it still came on. (Asr active I believe.) I just put a new battery in the car about a week ago. All the terminals seemed to be in good working condition. Going to drive it to work and see how it does. This was the most I've driven it since said new battery. Is it possible that it's going through a relearning cycle? Thanks in advance!
I don't think it is a relearning cycle. I also have a 92 and have disconnected the battery numerous times and never experienced what you are seeing. It is possible you have a bad wheel sensor providing faulty info from one wheel.

Good to know! I don't have any CEl's Do you know how to check for a bad wheel sensor? Thanks!
The easiest way is to hook up a piece of equipment to check the reported speeds on the sensors. Where are you located? I have a SnapOn MT2500 scanner and a software package for my laptop where I can get lots of info. If you are near Downers Grove we can hook up the scanner and drive a little and check the readings from each of the wheel sensors.

I'm located on the far NW side of Chicago. Thank you for the very kind offer! I dropped the car of at my mechanics shop this morning. So once I hear something I'll let you know! Again, thanks!

You're welcome. Please let us know what they find.
Do you have the FSM (factory Service Manual) for the car? This could be a good excuse to buy one. I believe after you confirm the ABS/ASR lights in the DIC for operation and some very basic diagnostics you could then check for codes using the DIC and clearing them.
I think it foolish to spend the dealer diagnostic fee for the visit. I understand why they need to charge but until you've exhausted easy stuff I think it foolish and unwise.
It's difficult to determine what exactly you meant by "no CEIs" - what did you mean. Have you actually already tried the DIC diagnostics? What led you to think wheel speed sensor?

I do not have any FSM's just a Haynes repair manual....
I'm a novice when it comes to auto repair. I like to play around, but I'm not a mechanic by any stretch. Making things more challenging is the amount of hours I work. In addition, I rotate days and shifts. Still though, and to your point, I need to run the basic diagnostics. Admittedly, I haven't done it. I did take my car to the mechanic across the street from where I store it and and work.
I also meant CEL's Check engine lights.
It was my understanding that wheel sensors are common items to fail....
