I have removed all the paint and clear coat from my wheels using aircraft stripper I need to know the next step in polishing my wheels. What do you guys think about a 4" polishing pad for a drill and what brand of polish?
with all the paint off the wheels they kinda feel bumpy like the plenum and runners
The 91-92 wheels are very difficult to polish from what I've read here on the forum because, as you've already realized, the casting under the paint is very rough. I do remember someone polishing a set awhile back and if I recall correctly it took him about 12 hours per wheel to get them looking nice. I'd probably look into getting them chromed unless you have a lot of patience.
Take some 180 sandpaper and sand the wheel down smooth. Then take a 500 grit and sand it even smoother. Then take Mothers or Never Dull and buff it out.I like Never Dull better than Mothers as it isn't as messy and does a great job.

Re: Polishing my wheels ??? (vert2go89)
 Suggest you start with 80 grit dry, get all the casting marks out, then move up through 160 to 320, be sure to get out all the marks from the previous grit paper before moving up
Once at 320, move to 600 wet, then 1200 wet then 1500 wet.
Use soap in the water and rinse the paper thoroughly. A little grit in the paper will scratch the wheels
After the 1500, go to the Mothers
If you still have scratches, drop back to 1000 grit and start over
