fx3 suspension
I have yet another question....lol....I have already started the ball rolling and spoke with Gordon Killebrew for confirmation, but I want to know if anyone has ever attempted to install the FX3 option in a factory non FX3 equiped vette. I am in the process of recovering from the usual optispark/pump failure, but the parts will be here soon. Only questions I really have are the routing of the non existing actuator wires to all four shocks and control module by abs/asr subassemblies. I know the harness is part of the package and the seller is aware of this "upgrade" and promises to send all the proper parts i.e actuators, shocks, modules, harness, ride control switch etc. If anyone has any tips/ideas/comments please let me know. BTW it is for a 1993 ruby that I'm looking for a supercharger too. thanks in advance........kitt... :crazy: :cool:

Unless you really want to do it i wouldn't. I have yet to take my car out of touring other than to see what that switch actually does begind the shifter. Most people i know leave the car in one mode or another 99% of the time.

yes I really want to do it...........just to say that I can. I am also installing LTWPS. If you read my bio you'll understand.......lol. Have you ever done it? I am an aggressive driver solo but when the I have passengers I would like the soft ride. I already have most of the parts on order so it's basically just a matter of getting the parts. I know most will say car was equipped so that "degrades" OEM integrity.......I don't care......my car......lol. :cuss . Thanks for the opinion though I'll keep it in the back of my mind to see if it holds true in the future for me.

OK I understand the "climb that mountain if it is there". However I would really, really, really think about the LTPWS thing. Expensive to replace the sensors, and some model are already discontinued...which means that other models may be right behind them.
