See dealer, if they are available you will probably have to special order them. If pads are discontinued, parts person maybe able to find out if a dealer has a set sitting collecting dust. 12518935 front maybe available 10132836 rear - discontinued

I did not throw the originals away when I replaced the ones on my 1996 last summer. They only had about 12 or 13,000 miles on them (the car had 11,800 on it when I bought it in July 2016).

If they are the correct numbers and if they are still in decent shape (from sitting), you would be welcome to them just for paying the postage. Yes I have the J55 option.

I cannot go digging in the garage until the weekend'ish. If you do not locate a set, feel free to nag me until I go out there and look.

I also have the factory rotors. The rt front is a little dinged where I hit it with a hammer, but I still have them. I was going to take them with my load of scrap that I have been saving to pay for a cam.

I found all but 1. The fronts have lots of meat left, the rears are a little thin, at least I think that they are thin. how thick should the material be with 12,000 miles on them ?

They all say PBR on them.

if you look at this

https://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Factory...IAAOSw9itZpHdv

tell me if that is what yours say, if you know.

the other one should be out in the garage. I will keep looking but it is winter here, my car is put away and there is other stuff in the garage. I won't be able to pull the car out for a while.

any one else know ?

also, for what it is worth, there are pads under those numbers on eBay (of course, I gave you a link).

you are welcome to these if you want them for the postage. as soon as I find the other one (will have to be by the weekend, then my daughter and her husband are here from Texas for 10 days)

as soon as I find the other one, I will take photos and post them up. I will show you the thickness of the material left.

they are not all rusty !!

Pad thickness or rotor?

Rear pads I'd think something near .540 for new 12K shouldn't be missing much. Front pads something near .610 for new.

Pad. Are these overall dimensions or thickness of just the material ?

Total thickness - friction material and backing plate. I measured a set of NIB fronts and they were .605+ on the 2 pads that I checked.

I have looked all over for the missing rear brake pad. Nowhere to be found. I have all the disks, the bearings, the pieces parts, just not that one pad.

I measured one of the fronts. There is a .020 difference side to side, confirming that the right front rotor is hanging up and needs rebuilt. This is what years of setting does. Good thing is I will have all new componentry.

Back to the pads. Seeing as they are tapered, I am not sure that you would want them. If you do, you can have all 7 for the price of shipping. I am pretty sure they would fit in a small flat rate box.

If you are interested, the next time I am at the P.O. (in the next couple days) I will get a box and find out how much to ship.

However, I think you would probably be better off using the links I supplied on eBay to get yourself some new ones, and possibly some spares for the future.

NCRS makes me chuckle.

When I need a set of pads I go out and buy a set.
