On the passenger side door, the back edge of the window hits the vertical roof brace...for lack of words....when the door is being closed. I can tell that the window....when fully raised, travels too far up before it stops....and extends a bit passed the front side and upper part of the weather strip (rubber) as well.
Is there...and where is the window stop adjustment...if there is one, in the door?
(As of now, I am always making sure that the window is down at least an inch before the door is closed)....then I can raise the window when the car is parked outside.

Your window guide probably broke. Its a $20 piece and a pain in the butt to replace. Some people on the forum were able to replace without removing the window but I was too impatient.

take the door panel off u will see whats happening.

Here is a pic of the window guide, now you can compare and see if its broken.

Mine was doing the exact same thing and it was indeed the window guide. Was about a 2-3 hour fix.
