Antilock Brake Problem - Going Slow Only
Street and tires are dry, but it feels like a stop with one tire locking.
I can't "make" it happen, it does it when I am least expecting.
Ideas are appreciated.
Many Thanks

Had the same problem...it eventually got worse...it would then activate the ABS buzz test every time I came to a stop.
It turned out to be a bad ABS wheel sensor on my 86.
It was the drivers side rear sensor...it corroded into the knuckle and I had to damage it to get it off and replaced it.
The sensors get dirty with time and sometimes you can clean the tip off and get the metal dust and grime off it to make it work again if they simpy unplug off their knuckles.
My other 3 sensors came off and and I was able to clean them up but not the drivers side rear.It was stuck, corroded and not allowing any signals to pass.
Btw,if your ABS is annoying you,and you cant fix it now,you can pull the ABS fuse out from the passenger side dash where the fuses are and it will disable the ABS.You will still have regular brakes but the ABS wont work and the ABS light may light up on the center dash warning panel for the lights becauses its deactivated.
If thats a problem and you dont want the ABS fixed asap due to the expensive parts it needs, remove the bulb from the dash for the ABS light when you pull the fuse.
Also,do check the relay or replace before spending alot of money on ABS wheel sensors.
Hope this helps some.
