ALDL cable question

ALDL cable question
This is for my 92 Coupe.
I think I know what I need but want to be sure before I order.
I already have the laptop and tuner pro RT. So all I need is the 12 pin to USB cable.
Since it will be a USB connection, I looked at the one from Red Devil River and ALDL cables. Looks like either will work, but open to other options.
The ones I looked at are:

Well if you have an older laptop with a RS232 port you can make your own: http://winaldl.joby.se/aldlcable.htm
The Dell Inspiron had the RS232 port and still runs Windows 7.
