Default Oil pressure switch

Rewiring a telemetry package. Fuel pump is turned on by the ECU. It still has the original Crossfire Oil Pressure Gauge Sending Unit.

Is there a compatible 1 wire Oil Pressure Sending Unit that will work with the 84 Digital display?

Yes there was a single wire for the '84 PRESSURE and was also used in '85 - '88. Very early '84 I believe had 3 wire.

If you actually wanted to use the 'fuel control' oil pressure switch it can be maintained by just using the switch for '85 - '88 and the 1 wire for PRESSURE.

What is the actual engine you're using?

This GM part# or it's equivalent would be a single wire that would work for '84 cluster. It's a single wire 'bell shaped' sender.

GM# 14078954 OP wire is maybe TAN?

I believe it is an L98

For ease of anyone else, compatible replacement parts for the part listed are.

STANDARD MOTOR PRODUCTS PS155
And
AIRTEX/WELLS 1S6563

https://www.rockauto.com/en/partsearch/?partnum=14078954

I will be trying the PS155 and shareing my results as it's around $15 on Amazon

I hate to sound like a *****, but all I asked for/needed was the part number.

Thank you for providing it.
