Many thanks to Dan Parker '96 for his assistance and taking time to answer my questions

It's definitely not cheap (we OBD II guys get screwed), but I'm sure you'll get plenty of good knowledge/results from using it.

Congrats!

I'm interested in this as well Other than a laptop/cable anything else required? I've seen folks refer to Datamaster, etc...need to have that as well?

I'm totally clueless on the computer stuff...and I'm getting further from the stock profile by the month...

Hi Tim

Besides the LT1 Edit Package which includes the software and cable, you'll need...

- A laptop (cheapie running Win 95 will work)
- Scan software compatible with OBD II. This ranges in price from $150 - $300+
- For serious tuning, you'll need $ to run your car on a dyno with a WB O2 sensor or you can buy a WB O2 and combine it with you data logging software

What I'm discovering is that unless you really get crazy (i.e. Blower, NOS, stroked, etc), the LT4 program is a great baseline to get started with and you can take your time with changing it as you feel comfortable.
