The problem with remanufactured is they remanufacture everything except the heart of the unit. The mitsubishi optical sensor.
they just put a coat of black spray paint over the mitsubishi sensor body (in china where they remanufactureit) and call that good enough.
I bought one of these in 2012 using the oem part number from gmprtsdirect. They substituted a remanufactured optispark that turned out to be defective out of the box. They were also absolute cun1s about refunding my money (i certainly didnt want another ‘remanufactured’ one).
But yeah if i didnt look at their catalog right and thats
a NOS ac delco gen 2 opti. Let me know !!

I looked on the website and saw you could buy some remanufactured Gm acdelco gen 2 optisparks for $477.
