Default A/C Accumulator Bracket Question

Does anyone know if the bottom of the A/C accumulator bracket attaches to something? There is a tab off the rear of it with a hole in it, but I can't figure out if it is supposed to be tied to anything (the bracket itself is pretty flimsy). There is a clamp on the A/C line which might fasten there, but the line is about an inch above it, and I'm not sure I want to try bending it to make it fit. If anyone has a stock set up they could take a look at, I would appreciate it!

Thanks, John

What year is this car? Is it a C4 or maybe something 'other than'?

Sorry,
It's a 1995 C4 LT1. I bought the A/C lines with the accumulator and I'm trying to get them installed correctly.

The lower I believe is 'bolted' to the cross-member. there's an image in the FSM I'm quite sure related to the mounting. 1B-XX (XX > page #) Do you have the FSM?

WVZR-1,
Pg 1B-36 shows it (kind of), but I don't recall seeing a cross member near that bottom flange. I'll take a closer look tonight. I'll report back what I find.

Thanks again,
John
