Rear hatch issue

Default Rear hatch issue
Hatch responds to fob and center console BUT I have to hold for at least 5 seconds to get it to open. Is that a normal situation?

Could be the release solenoid is going bad or just needs to be cleaned. Located under the center trim at the rear of the hatch.

Is the glass sticking to the seal or is the release delaying?

Remove and check the solenoid. It may just need the plunger lubricated.
