Hood problem (help)

I have a 88 Corvette, the hood won't release on the passenger side, how can I get it to release so I can pop the hood and fix the problem.

Sometimes if you have someone else hold the handle, and sorta bounce it up and down over the latch, it'll pop out. Just don't push too hard and crack the hood.

I bought that tool from MA.I have had to use it a couple of times ,it works good. :seeya

Buy the tool, I always keep it on hand just in case....but never had to use it yet.....knock on wood!!!! :cool:

I would try this first. It worked for me most of the time. When all fail, then use the tool designed by Gorden Kilbrew.

I read an article with Gordon Killebrew and he says the first tool a C4 owner should have is the one he designed to reach in and pull the hood cable. He says sooner or later you will need it.
