I have an 89 that was missing the rear enclosures and the fronts were missing the speakers, still had amps inside the fronts. If my amp repair project goes south, what are my options for repair / replacement? I've heard of a few places like Dr. Don and Car Stereo Help or something along those lines. Are they pretty good ? Can I use 90-96 amps in my 84-89 enclosures and they will sound right ? I have some minor capacitor corrosion on the one board that I disassembled, I assume the rest will be similar or worse. Any input greatly appreciated. And no I don't want to ditch the Bose system. I've spent too much on it to turn back.

I used Car Stereo Help and was very satisfied with the work and turn around time. I would suggest giving them a call and see what options may be available since you are going the purist route like I did. Just get the check book out.

Thanks for the reply John ! Already have a blank check for the FX3 suspension, might as well do one for the Bose😄

My front shocks (FX3) are due to show up on June 30, I have been waiting since the first of March. That what I got for buying a 27 year old vette that sat for 19 years with 16k miles. I should have a new car when I am done!
You lucky dog. I will be ordering a complete set for mine once the Bose deal is finished. Hopefully I won't have to wait months and months. Fingers crossed 🤞

It's mint! Perfect colour combo too. 6-speed I assume ? I need to get some good pictures of mine once the interior is all reassembled.
First three photos are from one of the previous owners. Interior pics with an assembled interior and old 1998 Sony CD player At the house about two weeks ago. I removed those dumb decals on the side. This is my other little project car
