Default auto door lock

Greetings,
Can anyone give me a tip on disabling the auto door lock feature?

Hold down the door button the FOB for at least 5 seconds or until you hear the door locks cycle, that is, lock & unlock. Turn the key on don't start. If the Passive Keyless entry light comes on in the DIC, lower left, the system is not disabled, so try again until the light does not illuminate, or walk away from the car & see if the system arms.

Just to add, the key needs to be OUT of the ignition when shuting the PKE off. If it is in it will cycle the locks, but it will be setting which doors unlock when you walk up to the car with the system on. You can CHECK to see if the system is off like stated above, AFTER you've cycled the locks with the key out.
