Default 1987 L98 Running /Timing issue

Hello everyone. My first post here. I will give you the run down of the car so maybe it will be easier to help diagnose.
87 L98
Comp Cam, 1.6 Big Block Roller Rockers, Ported & Polished Heads, Full Legth Headers, Big Intake Runners, Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator, Motorsport Injectors, MSD 6AL with Blaster Coil, custom Prom (not sure whos it is or where it was done), Underdrive pulleys, etc... All this work was done by the original owner who had died a couple years ago. My friend has this car now.

Here is the problem... The car stalled at idle and would not start again. Found a voltage issue to the injectors at the fuse box. cleaned the connections and had good noid light at the injector plugs. Replaced the spark plugs as they were fowled out. We have also replaced the intake gasket due to a small coolant leak as well as rebuilt the distributor with a new Pickup coil and Ignition Module while it was out. The Car also has a new Delphi MAF. I marked the location of the distributor and reinstalled it in the same place. Also while apart we replaced the Ignition wires as they were arking to the headers. I got new Taylor Cap, Rotor and Wires and added fire sleeves around the wires so they dont burn and ark again. Anyway everything went back together well and all the fluids are new. Smoke tested everything and no leaks. So now I am off to get it started and set the timing. When I go to set the base timing I can set it a 6 degrees with the EST connector disconnected, at operating temp without reving it at all, then I shut off the car and disconnect the battery to reset the computer to remove any block learn, reconnect the EST and and the car will not start. At that point it has fowled out the plugs and I have to remove them and clean them to get it to start again with the EST disconnected. I restart the car and get it to idle again at 6 degrees timing but the car will not rev up, it is popping and stuttering. We had a second computer for the car so we swapped it just to be sure there was no damage done to it with the voltage issues to the injectors, no change. The car acts the same way. Tried a known good MAF & ESC module from another car again just to help rule things out. So at this point I tried the old Cap & Rotor (Excel) and no change, I was asumming that possible something else that I had done was causing this issue. I also ruled out the 6AL box by reconnecting the factory ignition system. When the car runs at idle with the EST disconnected my Block Learn is down to 108. Clearly there is a problem somewhere but I am unsure what could be causing it. Before the car stalled it ran very well as it was with all the mods done so I dont belive this to be a tuning issue or fuel pressure issue as I have not changed anything from where that could effect things. My thoughts are possibly an issue with the pickup coil in the distributor that I had replaced already. Any other thoughts would be very helpful. Thanks

wow it looks like I found the main problem. When I rebuilt the distributor I some how managed to plug the wires from the pickup coil to the module on backwards. So now the car runs and reves. I figured it had to be something I touched. So now I just have a Block Learn issue at idle, still reading 108. I am wondering if the adjustable fuel pressure regulator is stuck or not working as it does not seam to make any difference when I turn the screw. I guess I will be taking that back apart to check it.

To continue I have reset the fuel presure to 48 psi with the vacuum hose disconnected and the Block lean has not changed. I am thinking maybe the O2 sensor has failed causing the Block Learn issue. I will be replacing the O2 sensor and the spark plugs again tomorrow as I had cleaned the plugs many times due to all the problems and want to be sure everything is running correctly.

ok so I have replaced the plugs and O2 sensor and my block learn is still 108 at idle. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
