Holley quit making the Stealth Ram ?!
I just got off the phone with Summit. They say Holley has quit making the Stealthram and there are none left in stock.
Can this be true? They only made them like 7 monhts?
If it's true, I'm hoping it's because they're going to start making the version that was promised that'll fit under a C4 hood.

If they wouldve started out with a model that fit Fbody and Corvette hoods, then they couldve gone somewhere with it.

Re: Holley quit making the Stealth Ram ?! (DiabolicalDave)
I just got the PNs off the Holley website (7540 for the intake set and 534-185 for the fuel rail kit) and then went to the Summit website and that comes back with prices and does NOT say B/O (backorder). So, now I don't know what to think.
Maybe the phone rep for Summit was new or stupid.

hopfully they will redesign it as a stealthramII, how hard would it really be to cut down a inch or so, yea you might loose a small amount of torque from a shorter runner. thing is everyone has been wanting a manifold with the MR top end & a more torquey bottom end, the stealthram was that, just never frigin fit !

Yeah, I don't see the point in paying a low price (as compared to MR/SR) for an intake system and then having to pay to have a hood scoop installed or buy a new hood. Very stupid on Holley's part :smash:

I'm not cutting a hole in my hood for ANYBODIES intake.
I like the StealthRam but will not chop my Vette up to install it.
Hey Holley. Make it fit the Vettes.

I wonder if the summit guy was thinking about the "LT1 super RAM" that was suppose to be shut down?

Hmmm.. I dunno, I'd cut up my C5 hood for the Lingenfelter supercharger kit. <grin>
