Default L98 engine hesitating

I replaced fuel pump, fuel filter, plugs, plug wires, coil, and battery. Still has hesitation. I give up. Taking to mechanic next week. I guessing fuel injectors. Your thoughts? Car has 71,000 miles. I have had everything serviced. Fuel cleaning, radiator flush, etc. pulling my hair out. Thanks in advance

Check the fuel pressure regulator located underneath and at the rear of the plenum between the fuel injector rails. Easy to rebuild. Do you still have the OEM injectors? Post some pics if your not sure.

Check the fuel pressure & bleed down rate. It should pressure for a while.

I'm not sure how the radiator flush has anything to do with hesitation. Fuel cleaning? Anything else fuel or spark related snake oils? Have you checked the spark and it's quality? Plug wires? Fuel pressure? Have you turned it to run and seen what pressure it gets to? Do not crank. Turn off and see how fast it bleeds down. Do you have Multec injectors? The cleaning can damage the injectors because the coils are fuel cooled. What mods have you done?Which injector do you have?

Fuel injectors are original. Only modifications are exhaust and air box modified with k&n. I replaced coil to stock. It was a hypertech. I’ve had this car 2 years. It’s an 86 z51. It only had 61k miles when I bought it. Thanks for the replies everyone

I was willing to try anything. I took to a shop to get a fuel system cleaning and they said that I had 71k on car and it was coming due for a radiator flush. I told them to go ahead. (Albeit I was sure that would not help) my wife thought that could be the problem because she had an engine surging issue with her Honda. They called it the Honda herpes. If air gets in the radiator it can cause engine surging. My car has engine stalling. A mechanic referred to it as falling on its face.

If you have multecs, the snake oil could hurt the injector coils since they were designed to be fuel cooled Hence the question about which one you have

Doesn't matter since some factory original ones are multec crap. Take a look at the injectors and see which ones you have.

Either way they are probably having build up so it might be a decent idea to just get a set of Bosch 3 reman units from FIC
