Default Code 34 on 86 vette

Hi there, I am new to this forum and have only owned my Vette for 3 years. I have learned so much on my own so far it is amazing to me. This site has been helpful with a few problems I had.
My new issue is this; car was running okay, not great but shut it off, came back about a half hour later to start it. It started fine but the SES light came on with a code 34. I replaced both Maf relays and also the wire harnesses. Still a code 34. I unhooked the Maf from the air tube and seen the burn off works like it should. I unplugged the Maf while the engine was running, with not much change in idle. It threw a code 33, with no other codes. I’m at a loss for what to do next. Please help,! Thanks.

Thanks, I think I will try that first. Don’t want to waste money on a new maf if that isn’t it.
