Default OE Concept Wheels vs. A-Molds

Hi all, I've been trying to purchase a new set of "ZR1 style" five spokes for some time now, and have run into a decision to make. I wanted AFS wheels, but the wait time is ridiculous. SO, here are the choices:

Aftermarket ZR1 wheels (OE Concept wheels- http://www.oeconcepts.com)

OR

Factory A-Mold wheels [black GS wheels sprayed silver]

I know that the factory A-Molds are lighter, but will they also balance better? What other differences are there??
I'm trying to justify the price- $1000 [oe concept] vs. $1400 [factory] comparitively

Many thanks!

I would not run AFS they are heavy, build quality isn't quite as good (finish). I cracked my AFS and still don't know how. Guess it was construction on I85, but nothing I haven't done with factory or Forgelines.

I have a set of OE rims. Havn't had a problem with them yet. They weight 23lbs & 25lbs. I don't think it matters if they are balanced. Because you need tires to balance them corretly.

I think that weight distribution (balance) is an indication of build quality.

If you don't mind a slight downsize in the rear, you can get a full set of A-molds from SLP for about $700. That's the route I took. All 4 17x9. 1/2 inch smaller than stock in the rear, 1/2 inch bigger in front. I am no Richard Petty, I feel no difference!! Check out www.slponline.com

What are the wheels on there??

Thanks Aqua, but the reason I am making the change is to go to 11" wheels in the rear.
I currently have the factory A-mold CE wheels- in CE sizes however...

They will be going up for sale soon, if anyone is interested.
