My mechanic told me that he didn't think that this connection was correct since the line just pushes in without any type of nut to hold it in. Can you guys look at this picture and let me know what this is supposed to look like, of if this is correct? It's a 1994 Coupe Automatic. I see the threads, so I presume something is missing.
If possible, can you post pictures of the correct configuration if mine is wrong?

I see from this diagram that I need the part listed in the diagram as #14, but I can't seem to find out from the link how to find the actual GM part number to try and order one somewhere. Does anyone know how to find this part number?

i'm thinking the clip is part of a GM repair "kit" and most likely not sold as a separate part, thus no individual listing for #14. the kit is listed as "no longer available". this is a long shot - try GP Sorensen, p/n 800-9410 -
fairly sure that clip is used across several German lines - finding the correct part number would be the problem. the above Sorensen part shows availabliy from autozone. good luck in your search. sometimes parts like this can be a real challenge -
Try a BWD 28416 from maybe Advance or any other local AP store. You could also cannibalize any '94+4.3W, 5.7P in F-body or full-size car. If the BWD 28416 does work ---- post back. My NAPA store has that as # CRB 217461
My friend didn't remember where we got it either but mentioned the 'cannibalization'.

If I had 'known' I would have told you - I don't know why you'd consider eBay. I gave you 2 part #'s you should be able to buy/try local!!!
From the looks of your return line (THE KINK) I'd say you maybe consider more than just the retainer. For sure an o-ring!
