Noise from right rear
I was all good and ready to change all the u joints. Even after reading the wheel bearing threads. UNTIL....... there was this grinding sound comming from the right rear. Hmmmmm.
So now i am firmly in the wheel bearing camp.
Does anyone have a link to these teflon washers?
Also, is there a preferred wheel bearing and supplier?

I did all four since I was chasing a noise that would come from under the car when any wheel hit a bump. They were original with 130k miles, and three of them had lost their seal. The rears are a little iffy to get off, make sure you have a good T55 Torx bit.

This is old school, lift the left wheel off the ground and the car in neutral. Place your hands at 12 and 6 and try wiggling the wheel up and down. If the wheel moves it is usually the wheel bearing. With the hand at 3 and 9 you can also check the tie rod ends for play. We do this for tech inspection at autocross and HPDE events as part of the inspection process.

I simply reused mine.
I was getting the clickity clicks. First from the right side and a couple months after I swapped that one, the left side started. I bought cheapo Amazon ones and lathered on the anti-seize on the stubs. No more sounds and the car handles much better at speed.
