Check out this crack. Keep a lookout for things like this. I couldn't believe it. It was cracked In the middle on the top side and i was luckily able to spot it from the bottom of the sub frame. Dont mind the dust...working in the yard

Damn. Any idea what killed it? Could you notice a difference in ride?

in all honesty I just cut the rubber spring pads down to where I felt the top point of lowering wedges would be. I also cut half of the double pads on the outside that rests inside the lower control arm. I'd rather have factory epoxy holding down the rubber than have to put wedges and glue it myself. I used a handsaw and some lube oil to cut the spring pad. In my honest humble opinion...I think there is no need for the wedge shape "pivot point" factory Rubber pads are flat so what gives? Lol

I think I know what may have caused it, but it's just a theory right now...till I investigate more. The power steering lines directly above the sub frame are mounted to the sub frame with a bolt. I believe the bottom of the bolt may have somehow came in contact with the top of my monoleaf. Somehow I feel it flexed and made contact. I couldn't really tell a major difference in ride quality. But one thing is for sure, my steering wheel feels a lot more stable at high speed now after replacing the spring.
