Overheated and cranks weird now
So i have an 1996 lt1 corvette, it overheated recently due to temp gauge failing and oil temp got up to 280 degrees.
So i am kinda sure it had blown the head gaskets now but what i dont know is why starting the car got weird.
So here how it goes, when i turn the key it cranks at the normal speed but at a specific point it kinda graps and goes back to normal speed again, like something tries to stop it. When it starts, it vibrates at idle only with no knock. There is very soft ticking sound from the top back of the engine and i think it is because the spark misfiring due to blowen head gasket.
So anyone had this kind of cranking before?
