Not really fixed, just adjusted it differently and it worked! My interior rear view on my 96 LT4 is attached to the top windshield header with two adjustable ball and socket pivot points. The pivot joint near the windshield is tight and holds position but the ball joint closest to the mirror cannot hold the mirror weight and road vibration causes the mirror to droop down.
The solution was to adjust the socket near the windshield up very high then adjust the socket near the mirror down to the correct level. They are both holding position. No super glue or trying to squeeze the socket tighter needed.
