I also wonder about the throttle body. it sounds large to me. and if I remember what someone posted recently, that a too large throttle body will kill top end performance....

But it's a 383, I can see it it was a 350, but LPE put's 58mm TB on ALL his 383 applications.
I think the only solution will be if you can find a tech local to you who knows engines and who can maybe peek inside your block... The 58mm should be fine for a 383 with an SR. I see those all the time in the 11's..
Not sure about the Injectors, but shouldn't the computer be able to tune thos edown using a lower pulse width? You said you had a custom chip burned. Did they have all the info for the car?
you said a summit cam a summit cam is not the lpe 219 cam just because it says 219 480 lift that means nothing the intake and exhaust events could be off like night and day the lobe centerline the overlap what was it degreed into and so on i dont remember lingenfelter putting 36lb injector on those motors either or useing cast iron cylinder heads 202 valves but what do they flow too many miss match parts to start with
that computer cant turn down those injectors i would start with pull those 36s out replace with 24lb injectors and get the prom reburned ill bet those injectors are not even in the ball park look at my car i am only running 24s duty cycle between 70-80 % and 37-42 psi
you could also put it on a dyno. don't just look at peak numbers, but the shape and quality of the curves, also, if you don't have cats, you'll get an accurate air/fuel ratio.
and hook up a scanner while it's on the dyno, that will give you some more info to find the problem.
and get rid of those injectors, they are probably just dribbling fuel out instead of misting fuel.
Re: Went to the track......what could be wrong??!! (Corey 68)
Schedule up some dyno pulls and put a scan tool on it to see what's hapening inside at WOT.
If possible with a SR, install an AFPR and fuel gauge so you can do some tuning. This will give you a good idea of what direction to go, if needed, on injectors.
