easy way to probe TPS?
I put my new TPS in my 84. Having a hard time getting probes to make steady contact. For some reason none with the old sensor. Is there an easy way to get probes in so I can set this TPS? Thanks

well the harness from Eckler is not available any more so I made my own. 3 pcs 14ga wire with .157 female ends on both ends. slightly crimped to fit the terminals on the TPS and wire harness. bared about 3/8" on bottom 2. Put these between the car wires and the TPS. Clipped my alligator clipped patch cords to them and my multimeter. Worked great! TPS is now set at .535. Idle seems smooth at 1000-1100 cold, and 600-700 at temp. Hope it stays that way
