The pre-owner of my car had it lowerd pretty much. And I can se that the car is lower at the front, it has a "nose down" position.
Im going to install adj konis this winter. How will the car handel with the stock FE1 springs and adj konis set to the hardest setting? And must I get the car to level to get it handel "right"?
If that is the case, how do I make the front of the car level again? Do I use "spacers" on the tip of the spring?
Thanks
Re: Question about lowering and supenstion. (bogus)
I thougt u lowerd the front by taking away some of the spacers from the stock spring. And used longer bolst to lower the rear.
And the alignment is fine. :)
Re: Question about lowering and supenstion. (devilfish)
Technically you could raise the front by putting some sort of spacer/pad under the existing pad. Another option would be to use some washers under the mounting plate (not sure if this is actually doable, but theory is right).
I wouldnt set the Koni's to stiffest. I set mine to 1.25 turns away from stiffest and it handled great.
Not being level can offset the weight distribution of the car. Well let me rephrase that, not being balanced. I dont think the car would be level if setup right.

You could weigh the car on 4 scales. not sure if any shops would have a set. A friend of mine does that has been racing for YEARS. Get the weight at each corner and go from there.
Can also check with some of the weighing places in town. We have a couple here for semi's to get weighed. They have two scales end to end, that you could park on andget an idea.
