I've found a loose connector in the engine bay, its only as long as you can see in the picture and I can't see anywhere it would be plugged in to. It's right by the driver's side wheel and comes out of the larger bit of enclosed wires you can see in the pic, can anyone help me out with this?

Perfect! Thank you! now any idea what that was for? haha. I didn't notice anything different after plugging it in.

I have no idea what it is.
Besides the connector, it has a small vacuum hose that goes somewhere under the alternator.
Maybe someone can tell us...

2 pins, 2 wires. One wire is black with a light-ish red stripe, the other is light-ish red with a black stripe.
