Guys with A4s... what do you use for changing shift points?
Just curious to see how other people do it.
Say you wanted your car to shift 200 rpms higher at normal driving or at WOT. Where do you start?
How much do you allow for the tranny to shift? Any other useful tips/hints or maybe some tools?
Thanks.

I havn't tried tweakin' those in the EE tdf-tables-normal up/down shift points, kick down up/down shift points, etc. Anyone else have?
Are you using tunercat? If so in the EE tdf check out the help-calibration help. It has good info on all those tables.

Madwolf,
I have a 96, I changed mine in LT1 edit, ( I would imagine tunercat is the same) in there they have WOT MPH upshift and downshift
In the normal and performance settings its a relationship between mhp and % of the throttle position. You can also do the same with a hypertech it will change shiftpoints as well as fans settings and such..
