Thanks for your reply , the problem with buying some used stuff for these older Corvette is what you will be getting any better that what you already have .. Most not all but most of the parts on these older Corvette seem to go out about the same time .. Thanks .. Its not bad price for a rebuild on these and look new when you get it back .

I rebuilt my dashboard and C68 at the same time with help from BATEE.com and it was less than $200 as I did the work myself using parts and knowledge from Bryan.
I do not think that a used one would be a good bet as it would have to have the same repairs made to it. Several of the components used to make the Digital dash have a life span of a lot less than 30 years. Before I fixed my dash it was very dim and you had to tap on different places to get it to work. The same with my C68, the numbers on the C68 would flash and get dim and again you had to tap it to get the connections to work. There was a connector that in the C68 that had warped so badly I was amazed that it worked at all!
You can rebuild it yourself if you can solder and de-solder proficiently. I did do one stupid mistake and that was not marking the polarizing film's direction, I put one piece on upside down and it was harder to read than before. I was able to change that and now my dash and the C68 A/C controller both shine brightly and work like a charm. If you bought the replacement dashboard with the standard gauges it would cost a lot more than what I spent fixing my "Cool" digital dashboard.
Good Luck with your dashboard!
