Won't shift in to gear
My son has a 93 6-speed. Got into it to go to work and it would not shift into any gear. He tells me there was no noise or any other indication of a problem while driving it the night before. Any ideas as to what we may look for would be appreciated.

Try bleeding the clutch. To get home put it in gear with the engine off..... then start it ........ they are usually forgiving when the car is moving even if the clutch isn't just right. We used to shift tractor/trailers without using the clutch .......... I used to shift cars that way too....... no prob.......... just let off the gas while pulling it out of gear and it will come out ....... push GENTLY to the next gear and if the car is going fast enough and the engine slows down enough it will fall right in ......... that's to get ya home...... not reccoended for everyday driving UNLESS you think it's fun and it works ok for ya :seeya
