I Assume that you shut the engine off as soon as you saw coolant leaking. Did it continue to leak coolant after that? Did you look around the engine to see any signs of the leak? You may have a radiator hose that cracked or possibly separated from the radiator. Check the radiator cap; is it loose? You'll have to do some looking around to find any indications of where the coolant came from. Take pics of any areas that show coolant and post them here.

I expect no return by OP. I have a question. Almost anybody even with no mechanic skills has to know coolant just does not puke out normally. Why would someone post a question like this as opposed to opening the hood and see where it was leaking from? How would anyone think that an unknown on a forum would know exactly where the leak was?
