Default LTI Exhaust System

What is the difference between the stock exhaust (catback) system on a 92 LT1 and a 96 LTI/LT4 ? I am replacing an aftermarket exhaust and can pick-up a stock one for a reasonable price

The '96 will have a provision for a 4th O2 sensor. But that may be on the part where the cats are, so I'm not sure now.

I have an LT4 system sitting in my garage to replace the junk on my car now (see sig)...

There are two O2 bungs for post cat readings on the 96... Also the LT4 system has an H pipe right before it splits to the mufflers at the rear... My stock LT1 system did not have this H pipe...

The 96 system has an O2 bung on the catback (driver's side), the passenger side rear O2 sensor is on the cat. If you don't have the rear O2 sensor on the driver's side (only on 96) then all you need to do is plug the bung with a threaded plug. It's 18mmx1.5 if memory serves me, I bought one from Linginfelter, but I think Jegs and Summit have them.
