Default C-Beam Question ??

I have tried searching and can't find an answer to my question.

Will a C-Beam from an automatic (D36) bolt to a D44 rear end?

I need a C-Beam that is going to get shortened/modified to accommodate my LQ9/TKO600 setup.

I know the C-Beams are different lengths but that isn't my concern as it will get chopped. I just need to know if a cheaper D36 C-Beam will bolt up to my D44.

Thanks,

Krusty

The C-beam at the pinion is the same. If you're going to 'whack' one, anyone that you have should do. You might make sure the bores are round and not 'egg-shaped' from wear. The D36 is longer.
