Default GS brake pads
being the GS calipers are 1/2" wider, (according to the website in the Z51/ J55 post) are the GS brake pads any different in thickness??

Are GS calipers the same as the Heavy Duty brake calipers (13" rotor)?

Same size. The GS caliper body is a bit heavier and has the word "Corvette" cast into it. Exactly the same rotors. The hub of the rotor used to be painted black on GS, but I've heard that all HD rotors are now.
