Default Daytime running lights ?

Here's an interesting video. It shows a set up of a SWISS C4 with daytime running lights! I WANT this option if its at all available here in n theState's. FOLLOW THE LINK TO
YOU TUBE .... https://youtu.be/1NiCkz020W0

ON THE OTHER HAND... if I can't find the right gear to make the mod. I'm willing to do some creative wiring. I'm looking for a HOT wire somewhere at the front left side of the engine bay that only gets power when the key is turned forward. NOT just constant. I only want the DRL to come o on . Not the amber blinkers too. Objective: Turning the key forward will AUTOMATICALLY turn on the lights and make me more visible to my C5 and up brothers. PEACE SIGN! SMILEY FACE EMOTICON.

I used the fan power circuit to run a relay for the driving lights.

Required for all Canadian cars. You should be able to find a module on-line.

Default Corvette mods

corvette mods description reads that it lights up the TURN SIGNALS. That's not exactly what I'm looking for. I want to light up the white fog lamps. I'm sure its possible but who knows if this kit will do the job?

I've made two DRL module sets from capacitors and relays and they work fine, but take a few hours to wire up and end up a lot larger than the module in the link.

I'd use the corvettemods.com deal linked above.

You didn't mention your year ( a MUST with C4 wiring because no two C4 years are exactly alike). but there is probably a an evap fuel solenoid in the LF bay under the headlight. The solenoid is under a little t-pee shaped hat. The wire of interest is pink/blk. Hot in RUN or START.

Bingo. Haven't tested it yet but looks like you've got me on the right track.

I came up with a way to use the cornering light circuit to cancel that side's "DRL" when the tail lights are OFF (cornering lights don't work unless tail lights are ON, and DRL's should only be ON with tail lights OFF). Get creative with relays, and you'll figure out something that will do what you want.
I did notice that about other vehicles. I did NOT however know that it was a law. Makes good sense though.
Hmmm? I'm not quite following how you can use a circuit that is OFF (CORNERING LIGHTS) to cancel a light that is on.

THANK YOU \"IHATEBARKINGDOGS"! mission accomplished. Works like a charm. When i turn the key forward the lights come on everytime so i don't have to think about it OR remember to turn them off again. I'm making a you tube video on this mod.
