'92 Digital display out/dim/flickers

'92 Digital display out/dim/flickers
So the display is erratic- hitting a bump might turn it off or back on, and when going thru a place with alternate shadows and bright sunlight, as when branches are casting shadows,
the display can be seen brightening and dimming, if it ON at the time (8. Where should I start looking??

sounds like cold solder,ull have to pull the display and resolder the main connections or there burnt.

I have a 92 also......
sounds like cold solder,ull have to pull the display and resolder the main connections or there burnt.

I'd start by pulling the clusters, cleaning the connections, looking for obvious signs of connector failure, reconnecting and making sure you have good grounding (or add a ground).
The flickering is more typical of a vibrating loose connection(s) than a broken solder.
