Just figured out the 40th Vert has Power Effects Tunable Exhaust on it. Researched a few old threads on them - no longer made, seem well liked, few people looking for them used...came on ZR-1?
Thoughts on them if anyone has experience with them?
How does one tune them other than rotation of the big aluminum dial on the side?
Any effect from tuning other than the Exhaust Note?

It is a aftermarket exhaust no longer made. It is pretty heavy compared to other systems, but well made. That's pretty much it, rotate the ***** to open or close it off for loud or quiet. Closed off and it drones less, but closing off restricts the flow and you loose some hp. There was one on my ZR-1 when I bought it, sounded decent but droned.
I run it, you only adjust the ***** which moves a straight through valve open/close. I only close it for long trips to cut some drone, but they always resonate.
I just picked up a never installed set for $150 . Easy install great fit and nice quality. My understanding is the baffles are stainless in the cast aluminum mufflers. Pipes look to be aluminized steel. Love the sound zero drone with stock 91 cats. System should outlast me.
