Re: Which Fuel Pump??? (oldace84)
Kragen now stocks AC-Delco fuel pumps. At least the ones here in Sacto did for my 88. Cost $69. Much better than paying the dealer over $100 for the same thing.
Replace it with a Delco from an '85 and add a pulsator. Convert your fuel regulator to adjustable and set fuel pressure to 13 psi. If you don't want to go with the '85 pump I have a new Delco for an '84. New style vanes with electrical connector, just may have a "this week only special". Regardless what pump you use the electrical connector will have to be changed, GM changed all pumps built after '87. It's not a big deal. There are step by step instructions on CrossFire Injection Vault. Site is down now but should be back up early in the week. :yesnod:
Walbro does not make the fuel pump for the C4 Corvette only the C5.
If you want a stock PnP replacement then a Walbro 190L/Hr pump will do just fine.
If you want something that will supply higher HP then a Racetronix + Walbro system woud be in order: http://www.racetronix.com/Racetronix-C43-FPK.html
tpis sells one that's larger than the stock one for those of us making 400hp or more, i've yet to install the one i ordered but it looks like a slightly larger version of a stock one.
