Transmition ??!!
I want to ask this question just to hear from you that this ever happend to you and that after this incident something went wrong !! ok hear it goes !!
today I accidentley shifted my vette into Park when I was still moving !!!! all I heard was grrrrrrrrr noise that went straight to my heart :cry noting seems to be wrong all the gears are ok and seems normal ( I was doing about 5mph when this happend ) is this very bad when this happens becouse I am very woried :( help !!!!

It's not a problem, especially if you were only going 5mph. It's hard to explain,
but the noise you heard was just an arm skipping across the "slots" in the
mecahnical lock mechanism that keeps the car from rolling when it's in park.
It's got nothing to do with the gears, and you didn't hurt anything.
You know how when you put the car in park sometimes and then it rolls
an inch or so before it "locks"? That was it, except that it couldn't grab
a slot to lock into while the car was moving that fast.
