This car refuses to race, tomorrow is the biggest race of the year I was waiting for.
*edit*
Oh wonderful, I just put a new ECM in the car. Maybe I got a crap unit. The Memcal I'm using is one that I have been using right along!

Also got these 2 at a couple points tonight..

1. Replace Plugs (possibly fouled a couple by now if you saw the fuel clouds)
2. Replace cap & rotor (because they are cheap anyways)
Light on: Faulty connections or MEM-CAL, or incorrect MEM-CAL installed in ECM.
Light off: Repair open ground ckt 450

The computer recognizes the changes (for example in Diacom I can see the desired Idle speeds I set changing).
Where in the 87 manual are you finding this procedure? Flipping through mine now.

It is the code 41 logic flow diagram for repairing a code 41. You might have an open ground at ckt 450.
