Door panel fitment
Okay guys, so this may be an easy one, I hope. My drivers side door panel (94 coupe) is loose at the very top where the window comes out of the door. I have had the panel off and back on a few times, but can’t seem to get it to hook around that lip on the door, you know the drill, up and over, then down so the top inside of the panel hooks over the top lip on the door. It seems like my panel is maybe a little warped? or too tall if measuring from the top of the panel to the bottom, but I beleive it’s the original panel from 94. So weird because the passenger side doesn’t have this issue. I was looking at possibly buying another door panel, but thought I would ask all the experts here to see if perhaps I am just missing something. Perhaps the panel is supposed to have some clips that are missing or something?

This is common and there are fixes for it. The little support ribs inside the door panel crack and the panel no longer fits right. The end of mine is actually split. The passenger side one has less the problem because that door is used a lot less.
