85 LH Headlight Relay

85 LH Headlight Relay
On my 85 the left headlight goes up, but will not go back down. I purchased a new motor and it does the same thing. I think it must be the relay for the left side headlight motor. Where is it located on the 85? When I cruise over to my dealer to buy one, what do I ask for, anyone have a part number?

Yup, there's 3, one for each side, then a isolation one. They're on the front of the drivers side wheelwell. Just look down in there, close to the sidemarker light, and you'll see three little boxes. There's two identical and one different. Take those two identical ones down to the local pep boys (or competent auto parts store) and tell them you need them. They should have them, round $15 a piece. :cheers:

The relays may be inside a black box attached to the wheel well. I would replace all three just to be sure. After changing the two relays that are the same, I still had problems so I changed the third relay and the headlights work great.
