Has any forum member balance or had one of this engines blue printed? If so could you pls print improvements. How much more of a difference in HP/TQR was there. Any info will be appreciated. Trying to get all info I can before I buy one. TIA

Are you referring to the HT383? If so, from the line it really should be relatively close. It was intended as a truck drop in and never was intended to go into high power applications. I'm not sure how many other 383s GM offers so if there is a high output version this is news to me. Personally you'd be better off building your own to your desired application imo.

Well that's new to me. Personally I wouldn't touch that because I wouldn't want to void warranty just in case. That is just me though.

A cam change is the only thing you could really do. Can't imagine anything else would be necessary. I'd personally get a 1 piece rear seal block if this one doesn't have it.

Blueprinting will gain you very little hp. It helps with engine longevity and high rpm survival.

Looks good to me. Any reason can't be used with L98 TPI intake and electronics? Other than HP loss
