Today I was looking at the transmission tables for my 96 to contribute to another thread. It dawned on me that the transmission has 3 different tables.
Normal - Performance and Manual Modes.
Is there something I missed because I didn't read the owner's manual front to back, etc ? Or is the computer sensing which table to address based on throttle position and PRNDL lever position etc ?
I have a B&M switch that wires in and changes how the transmission functions based on switch setting. Is it accessing these tables ?
I wonder if it's based on shifter position? I'd think D = normal, or performance, depending on throttle position, and manual would be the select-able gears below D. That's my theory anyways!
