Follow your drivers side exhaust manifold down to where it connects to your Y-pipe. And there it should be screwed into your Y-pipe. I kinda looks like a spark plug with a wire attached to the top of it. To change it, I had to jack up the driveres side. Special sockets can be picked up from your local auto parts store which allow for removal of the sensor with the wire on it. I however was able to R&R it with an opened end wrench 13/16's I believe.
I would talk to our good friend Jeff Kopp. I've asked him this same question because I need to convert mine to heated sensors. Now I have to buy 2, so it kinda sucks. He can get the sensors, P/N 25312179 and a handy wiring "repair connector" for iti, P/N 12126012
The repair connector is essentially the wiring harness end of the O2 sensor plug with wires coming out of it. This way you can splice this into your wiring harness signal wire and then run your own wires for the heater, and you're done. If you ever have to change the O2 sensors again you don't have to splice anything, you just plug it in and go.

I don't have part numbers, but when I went to the dealer I asked for one for a 90 ZR1. They had it in stock and it was about $65 or $75. Since there has never been a ZR1 driven through my town, let alone one sold at their dealer, I'm under the impression that it's a common part. :) It was a 3 wire sensor. I bought the matching harness plug and pins from a local Big A auto parts store. I wired it to get power from my fuel pump relay, and to ground on the bracket that holds that relay. This gave me very neat, clean wiring all in one location.

Yep your right Jim the ZR-1's have three wire heated sensors two of them. You can get the Bosch ones at Auto Zone for around 35.00 each. 84 CF 91 ZR-1
I will be running mine to the 12v+ distribution block located just behind the battery. It will be fused and have it's own relay. I was going to activate my relay using the same signal that gets my water pump, it's hot in the run position. That would work, but Jeff Kopp suggested that I get it from the fuel pump relay, that way it will only be on when the engine is running.
