Actually, I changed from a 700-701 TPIS cam to a 248/254 Comp mech roller on a 112 lobe sep, ported my miniram picked up about 20 cfm, went to a monoblade, and did some engine coatings. It was a last minute thing, so I didn't have my laptop to make any adjustments. There may be a little bit left in it.
That's 100 more hp than Corky has and he goes low low 11's.
Vic
I personally think that Corky's numbers were not accurately measured on the dyno. He and I have had this discussion before. I think the operator of the dyno had something wrong, or it just was not reporting correctly.
My setup is capable of putting out ~330 Hp reported be other individuals. And some of the best of those setups are running high 11s. The 40 more horses Cork's readout showed is not gonna get him the 11.11 he is definately getting. If you put those times into a Hp calculator with a car weight of 3305 (that is what mine weights with me in it) you get 476 HP. But I could be wrong, its just my thoughts. And I guess my hopes for my 406 :D
PS I have a feeling when Cork and I go to the track this weekend, he gets a 10sec pass!
I definitely think Corky is making more power than his dyno numbers say.Dyno's can also vary quite a bit from one dyno to another. My second pull was actually a little bit better, so I changed my numbers to that pull.
