I'm thinking either a Victor style or a dual plane like the Performer RPM.
I modified a Performer RPM on my Camaro with a 406 ci, and it had lots of bottom end and plenty of top end aswell.
I need to know the height of the set up, as compared to a stock tpi. Mainly throttle body height.
Maybe my next experiment on one of my Callaway TT.
I believe the throttle body adapter was Lingenfelter. I got that picture from Arizona Speed and Marine.
I spoke with John Lingenfelter about 2 months ago, he said this combo was hard to beat, simple yet powerful.
On the Callaway the miniram is too low and the newest from Holley is too high, plus it's much easier to play with the plenum area with this set up with different spacer adaptors, which would come in handy when tuning.
8388,
I have been looking into doing this very thing.
The pro ram is 2" too tall to clear the stock hood. I talked to Mike in Boston about this, he had the intake base milled 1" and cut 1" out of the 90 degree elbow, then welded the flange back on.
There is also some problems with the intake sealing up. I forgot what that was for the pro ram base.
I have been in an LT4 that they put this stlye intake on (used the GM intake that fits the LT4) and he made the rest himself using a C5 throttle body.
This car was an autocross only car, no mods to the motor internally (just headers minus cats), it hauled butt!
